Our Head Golf Professional is Joe Klinchock, PGA. He may be reached at the Club's Pro Shop at 412-921-5360 or proshop@chartierscc.com.
Pro Shop Hours
The Pro Shop is open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday during the Summer months.
Monday Golf Outings
A limited number of dates are still available for Monday Golf Outings in 2012. Please contact the Club's Manager, Herb Hyland, for more information at 412-921-3780 or herbh@chartierscc.com.
Merchandise and Equipment
The Club's Pro Shop is stocked with a wide selection of merchandise and equipment. Non-members are welcome to visit the Pro Shop. The Pro Shop accepts Master card and Visa for merchandise and equipment purchases only.
Chartiers Country Club Golf Events:
An 18-hole Willie Park designed championship golf course. The current master plan for the golf course was updated in the 1990's by Arthur Hills.

Joseph Klinchock - Head Profressional:
Joe has been head golf professional at Chartiers Country Club since 1997. Joe has had a long and successful career in golf and here are a few highlghts:
1981 – Westmoreland County Amateur Champion
1982 – PSAC State Champion
1984 – Davis, Elkins Tournament Champion
1984 – Conference Champion
All American for Indian University of Pennsylvania
1985 – All American for Indian University of Pennsylvania
1988 – Maryland Open Champion
1989 – Kemper Open Contestant
1995, 2000 – Tam-O-Shanter Open Champion
1997 – Elected to the Tri-State Board of Directors for three year term – in charge of Junior Golf
1998 - West Penn Open Champion – set course record (64) and tournament record (133)
1999 – Tri-State PGA Club Professional Champion - qualifying for the National Club Pro
Championship in Valhalla, Kentucky
1999 – Junior Golf Leader Award, Tri-State Section, PGA for outstanding contributions in the
promotion and development of Junior Golf
2001 – Contestant in the National Club Pro Championship in Valhalla, Kentucky – finished in
The top 25 in the country which qualified for participation in the 2002 PGA
Championship held at Hazeltine National Golf Club
2001 – Elected again to the Tri-State Board of Directors for another three year term in charge of
Employment
2002 – Participant in the PGA Championship, Hazeltine National Golf Club
2002 - Bill Strausbaugh Club Relations Award, Tri-State Section, PGA for untiring and
distinguished service to golf facilities and to fellow PGA members in the field of
employment and club relations
2003 – Bill Strausbaugh Club Relations Award, Tri-State Section PGA
2005 – August 29th became a Certified Professional by the PGA of America in the field of
General Management, necessary to become a Master Professional
2005 – November 7th became a Certified Professional by the PGA of American in the field of
Golf Operations, necessary to become a Master Professional
2005 – Elected to the Tri-State PGA for the third time
2011—Elected into the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame
